Life Stages & AAFCO Statement:
Orijen Small Breed Dog Food is formulated to meet all the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages, including growth of large size dogs (70 lbs. or more as an adult).
Your dog is unique and feeding requirements will vary with environment, age, and activity. That’s why we suggest starting with the featured guidelines, and then monitoring weight and adjusting portions as needed. Feed twice daily and remember to always keep fresh, clean water available.
PUPPIES: At 1 1/2 - 3 months old, feed twice the adult amount. At 3-6 months, feed 1 1/2 times the adult amount. At 6 - 11 months feed 1 1/4 times the adult amount.
GESTATION: Increase from 25% to 50% of the adult amount.
LACTATION: Feed “free choice”.
