Primal Pet Foods Raw Canine Turkey & Sardine Freeze-Dried Formula is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages.

Feeding Guidelines:

Rehydrate food with warm water, bone broth, or raw goat milk to ensure optimum nutrient absorption. Primal recommends thoroughly incorporating one tablespoon of hydration for every nugget served, or 1/4 cup for 4 nuggets. For best results, break nuggets into pieces and mix thoroughly.

Use stainless steel bowls when feeding any raw product. Other materials, such as plastic and porcelain, are porous and can trap germs over time.

Feed adult dogs the equivalent of 2-3% of their body weight in rehydrated food per day. See the chart below for feeding guidelines. Because calories vary between Primal products, this feeding chart is based around rotating formulas and 2.5% of body weight as the optimal feeding amount. Your dog's activity, age, metabolism, and breed may affect feeding quantity.

Adult dogs should have total daily feeding portion divided into at least 2 meals. Puppies and pregnant or lactating females should have their daily feeding portion divided into 3 or 4 meals.
